HENRY YAN PAINTING WORKSHOP
September 4 days drawing, 3 days painting. Henry Yan is a regular contributor to London Fine Art Studios academic calendar. He originally trained in China and is now based in the USA where he teaches at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Yan is a master draughtsman whose work is characterised by attention to anatomical detail and powerful gesture.

A rare opportunity to paint the figure, from the life model, using the techniques taught and honed by Henry Yan. Students will learn how to apply the same lightness of touch and fluidity to the painted subject.
Open to all, but students are encouraged to complete the drawing workshop first. There will be a live painting demonstration and, Q&A and sale of work on Thursday 9th September, 6.30pm (£20.00).
